What kind of products can I rent from Memento Rentals?

At Memento Rentals, we offer a variety of products and lifestyle products tailored for both personal and professional use. Our selection includes:

How long are the rental periods?

To accommodate different needs, we offer:

- Daily Rentals: Choose per day for the testing and short term needs.
- Monthly Rentals: Choose month-to-month for the greatest flexibility.
- Extended Rentals: Opt for 3, 6, or 12-month periods, with discounts available for longer commitments.

Pricing

How is the rental cost determined?

Rental prices are product-specific and duration-dependent. All prices listed on our product pages are exclusive of tax and are the final rates as confirmed on your quote.

How can I initiate a rental with Memento Rentals?

To rent with us:
1. Visit our product selection online.
2. Select your desired product and rental duration.
3. Register an account and confirm your order.
4. We'll ship the product directly to your location.

Is a deposit required for renting?

Yes, a refundable deposit equivalent to the new value of the rented equipment is required at the start of the rental. This deposit covers any non-fulfillment of obligations and potential damages or losses.

Payments

What options do I have at the end of my rental period?

Upon your rental period's conclusion, you can:
- Return the product: Ship it back using the provided label.
- Continue renting: Extend your rental on a monthly basis.
- Purchase the product: Buy it at a reduced rate.

What are the consequences of cancelling my reservation?

- Within 4 hours of rental time: You are liable for the full order amount.
- Between 72 hours to 24 hours before rental: You will be charged 50% of the total order amount as a compensatory indemnity.

What if there is a payment delay?

A delay in payment results in a penalty of 100€ per delayed day, plus potential additional recovery costs. Continued non-payment may lead to immediate demands for all due payments.

Insurance

Does the rental price include insurance coverage?

All rentals necessitate comprehensive all-risk insurance covering the full new replacement value of the equipment. We also offer an optional extended warranty covering various damages and incidents, excluding theft without forced entry.

What happens if I fail to return the equipment on time?

Failure to return the rented equipment as per the agreed date automatically initiates a new rental agreement charged under the same conditions as the initial contract until the equipment is returned.

What are my responsibilities if the equipment is damaged or lost?

You must:
- Report damage or loss: Notify us within 48 hours and provide a police report if applicable.
- Cover applicable costs: Pay the repair costs or replacement value if insurance conditions are not met.

What should I do in case of theft?

In the event of theft:
- Notify us immediately: Within 48 hours via registered letter.
- File a police report: Within 24 hours of the incident.
- Reimburse the replacement value: Within 5 days following the incident.

What is prohibited during the rental period?

You are prohibited from:
- Using the equipment in hazardous conditions.
- Engaging in unauthorized repairs.
- Subleasing or pawning the rented equipment.
- Using the equipment beyond the agreed rental period without our consent.
