Soyuz The Lakeside

The Lakeside is Soyuz's single-channel preamp, built entirely Class-A around the company's own proprietary input and output transformers. Left clean it stays open and dimensional with enormous headroom; driven, it blooms into controlled harmonic saturation that thickens a source without blurring it.

Gain runs from 10 to 60 dB in 5 dB steps, with an inductor-based high-pass sweepable from 40 Hz to 330 Hz for shaping proximity at the source. A front-panel Hi-Z input makes it one of the best DI paths you can put a bass or an electric guitar through.
