AMS Neve 1073SPX

The AMS Neve 1073SPX puts the circuit that defined British recording into a single rack space. Class-A topology and genuine Marinair transformers give it the weight and forward midrange that made the original a studio standard, and driving the input harder is still the fastest route to that sound.

Gain runs +20 to +80 dB in 5 dB steps. The inductor EQ offers a 12 kHz shelf, a sweepable midrange from 360 Hz to 7.2 kHz and a switchable low band at 35, 60, 110 or 220 Hz, backed by an 18 dB per octave high-pass at 50, 80, 160 or 300 Hz.
